Arthritis affects millions of Americans and is one of the most common causes of disability in America. It can lead to chronic pain, loss of motion, decreased strength, and physical/mental impairments. At OSPTA, we provide interventions to help slow the degenerative process and improve function. We use a combined approach of mobility, flexibility, neuromuscular re-education, patient education, and strengthening exercises to treat and manage arthritis.
We will educate you on the anatomy, physiology, and movement dysfunctions that lead to arthritis. We strive to educate our patients so they can have a better understanding of arthritis and how to treat and manage it. This enables our patients to have less pain and improved function so they can continue to do the things they love.
